Denver · Live online · Mon Oct 12 · 7 PM Mountain
An AI coding class for Denver that ends by 8:30.
Coding Coach is a live online class for people on the Front Range who have never written code and have an idea they want built. You tell Claude what you want in plain English, and it writes the code. By 8:30 you will have made a live website yourself: your idea, on the internet, with its own link you can text to a friend.
The session is 90 minutes: about 30 minutes getting everyone set up and connected, then the hour of building.

When and where
7:00 in Denver. Done by 8:30.
The class is taught from Omaha, one time zone east, where it starts at 8:00 PM Central. In Denver that is 7:00 PM Mountain, and you are finished at 8:30. Setup runs 7:00 to 7:30, and the hour of building runs 7:30 to 8:30.
The calendar file on the schedule page is set to the exact moment, so a calendar on Mountain time shows 7:00 PM on its own.
There is no classroom in Denver or anywhere else; Omaha is about eight hours east by road. You join by video and build on your own laptop, and you share your screen when you get stuck.
Coding Coach is an independent class, not affiliated with Anthropic.

What this is
The beginner's evening, not the bootcamp
Denver has one of the busiest tech scenes between the coasts, and most of what is on offer assumes you are a developer or want to become one. This class assumes neither. It is for the person who has heard that AI can write software now and wants to see it happen on their own laptop, with their own idea, with someone there to help when it goes wrong.
Three things it is not: job training, a programming-language course, or in person.
Where this fits
See a demo, take a course, or build your own
-
If you wantA room full of people showing what they made
A local AI meetupAn evening of introductions and demos. Good for ideas and for meeting people. It is not a class. -
If you wantTo learn at your own pace
A self-paced online courseVideo lessons you work through alone, on your own schedule. -
If you wantFree tools and space to make things
A public libraryMany have computers, software and makerspaces you can use for free. -
If you wantA coach beside you while you build your own app
This class90 minutes, five people, live online. You bring an idea and leave with it live on the internet.
A good order to do them in: build your first website here, then take it to a meetup and show it.
Examples, not past student work
What the Front Range could build
Small on purpose. One job, done well, finished tonight.
I want an app that
- A weekend hikerkeeps a fourteener log with date, route and who came along.
- A ski house or carpool groupsplits gas, lodging and lift tickets fairly.
- A taproom or brewerytracks which kegs are on, and when each was tapped.
- A short-term-rental hostbuilds the cleaning and turnover schedule from bookings.
- A contractor or remodelerprices a job from square feet and materials.
- A rec-league captainsets the lineup and tracks who has paid dues.

FAQ
Before you book
What time is the class in Denver?
7:00 to 8:30 PM Mountain. It is taught from Omaha, where that is 8:00 to 9:30 PM Central.
Is there an in-person class in Denver?
No. Every Coding Coach class is live online. You join by video from home.
Is this a bootcamp or job training?
No. It is a single 90-minute class with five seats, for beginners with an idea. It does not train you for a developer job.
I've already been to a vibe-coding meetup. Is this worth it?
If you have seen demos but have not built something of your own from an empty folder, yes. If you already have, you may not need it.
Does it work on the Western Slope or in the mountains?
Anywhere in Colorado with a steady internet connection good enough for a video call and screen sharing.
Do you teach anywhere else?
The same class is open to people in Omaha, Kansas City and Des Moines, and anywhere else with a laptop and an evening.
Also taught live online to people in Omaha, Kansas City and Des Moines. The main class page has what you leave with and the main FAQ (times there are Central), and the setup checklist has every step before class.
